General Information

• A password is required to use the computers. Please ask for one at the desk. At the computer, please read the Computer Use/Internet Use Agreement on the first screen. It has important information and restrictions that are not listed on this website. Note: Violation of the agreement may result in immediate termination of computer privileges. Then enter your PIN number, and click on "I agree."
• Each computer user is limited to 1 computer session per day. The session may last up to 1 hour, except at the end of the day when all computers are shut off 15 minutes before closing.
• Students in grades 8 and below must use the computers in the children's area. These students must have a signed parental agreement card with them in order to use the computers.
• High school students must use the computers in the adult area. School ID must be shown to validate age. No exceptions.
• The option of printing is available at any adult computer. Print-outs cost 15¢ (b/w) or 25¢ (color) per page. The default print setting is color. If you prefer black and white, please change the settings under "Preferences" in the printer pop-up box.

Special features:

• Spanish character keyboards are available upon request.
• The computer monitor may be modified to accommodate patrons with impaired vision. Please ask us for assistance.

Available Programs

There are many Microsoft productivity programs (eg MS Word) loaded in the adult computer terminals that are against the wall.
