May Newsletter Our activities will slow a little during June and July because of our Summer Reading programs for children. We will still offer craft and book clubs and a movie night, but will have fewer special programs. If you have suggestions for future events or would like more information on certains topics, please let us know. CGH, in particular, offers free programs on a wide variety of health issues. Murder and Mystery Book Club Strike Dog by Joseph Heywood June selection: And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. Newcomers are always welcome to attend. Janice McCoy from the Whitesdie County Extension Office will guide participants through an exploration of ways to talk to family members about the difficult subject of distributing family items with sentimental and emotional value while still keeping relationships intact. Thursday Craft Club Our craft clubs are open to anyone, from beginner to expert, who enjoys any type of fiber, fabric or paper craft. Bring your work-in-progress and get to know other people who share your love of crafts. Where Your Food Comes From
Participants will play an informational trivia game about where our food really comes from, led by Marilee Ashley from the Whiteside County Extension Office.
